One of Europe's largest insurance companies, Generali, has acquired Bordeaux chateau La Pointe for a sum reportedly between 32-35 million euros (47-51 million US dollars) while chateau Carignan has been sold to a US wine importer for 11 million (16 million dollars), the buyers said.
